It’s with great enthusiasm that we’d like to announce the 2017 ShedHeads scholarship. We are offering a $500 scholarship bursary to any student who’s attending College, University, or Technical School. You can use your award for tuition, books, or any other tertiary educational expense you feel is necessary.
This scholarship is geared towards students who are attending hands-on learning programs, although we welcome applications from any student in the United States or Canada.
How To Apply
If you’re like a chance to win, you must prepare and submit a 500 to 1000 word essay detailing any project you undertook. Whether you repaired your car, planted a garden, or helped your parents stain your deck, we’d love to hear about it.
What We’re Looking For
Your essay should be thought provoking and creative. We’re looking for an original piece of work, and any plagiarism will result in disqualification. Your submission should draw on your own personal experience, and explain how your project helped you learn and develop as a person.
All submissions should include personal information that will be necessary to contact the winner. Please include your full name, mailing address, and a domestic telephone number.
Please include the name of the school you will be attending, and your program of study.
Submissions are being accepted until Febuary 23rd 2017. We will select the winner on Feb 28th. Check back here on this date to see if you were the lucky applicant!
All personal information collected will be used for the singular purpose of determining the scholarship winner. We will not contact you for any other reason, or use your information for promotional purposes.
By submitting your essay, you agree to allow us to post the content in full if you are selected as the winner of our scholarship.
